S2M GRANTS LICENCE TO RUSSIAN COMPANY FOR PRODUCTION AND SALE OF MAGNETIC BEARINGS

A licence agreement was signed on July 20 2006, between S2M (world leader in magnetic bearings) and Roselectroprom Holding (a Russian company producing high speed electric motors jointly with Siemens AG and supplying natural gas compression stations).

 

Roselectroprom Holding, who manufactures high speed motors jointly with Siemens AG, is a producer who undertakes the overall engineering of compression stations and delivers them as turnkey plants.

 

All these compression units on magnetic bearings are destined for the Russian natural gas transport networks. These "oil-free" systems increase the reliability and safety, as well as simplifying the after-sales-service, of natural gas compression units.
